The Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association (OATA) is a not-for-profit [501(c) (6)- IRS approved, 10/98] organization dedicated to the health care needs of the physically active. Founded in 1984, the primary goal of the OATA is to ensure that athletes, at any level, receive immediate, professional, quality health care. This comprehensive and cost-effective care is accomplished with the daily contact and cooperation with physicians and other allied health care professionals.

This will be hosted at the Ohio University Dublin, Ohio Campus, beginning at 8:30 AM.

Tony Ortiz  Scholarship for DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association is pleased to announce the TONY Ortiz Scholarship for Diversity and Inclusion.The Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association will award one scholarship to a deserving student of an ethnic or socially diverse background accepted to or currently enrolled in an athletic training program  at an Ohio Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited institution . The OATA defines diversity as the range of human differences, including but not limited to, race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin and political beliefs.
